Parents Letter about Tuition/Payment Changes
Dear YNS Sharks Parents,
Thank you all for a memorable and successful 2022-2023 season! We are proud of our accomplishments and more importantly proud of the culture we have established on our team. We are already looking forward to what we believe will be a promising 2023-2024 season! We are preparing registration for the new 2023-2024 season and we want to announce some changes regarding our team operations including payment and administrative processes.
We operate our team with two systems, one for registration (ActiveNet) and one for team competition (TeamUnify). We will be continuing with our Team site (TeamUnify) and functionality but our Y is moving to a new software platform which will enhance and change some aspects of our operation (called Daxko, which will replace ActiveNet).
Our new annual tuition payment schedule will be changing to a three payment schedule beginning with this new season’s registration. This will also include our PreTeam groups (Little Shark & Shark Fin). The Billing Darft Dates will be as follows:
- September 15th
- December 15th
- March 15th
The more substantive part of this exciting software change will take place later in the fall and it will largely be seamless for families but there will be a couple of important impact changes we will share in the coming months as the Y prepares for the switch.
As always, we are committed to ensuring every family who wants to be part of the swim team can be, without financial barriers, and as such we will continue to work with any families that need Flexible Pricing through our Financial Assistance program. Please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information on our Flexible Pricing Financial Assistance Program or if you have any questions.
Soon, we will be sending out a link for everyone to process their registration (through both TeamUnify and ActiveNet). Please be aware that it will require you to enter a payment method within the process in the event you do not already have an existing payment method in the system.
Thank you for your continued support!
