Roster Group Placements for SC Season

Good Evening YNS Families,

Our Long Course Season has officially concluded! Now that our Coaching Staff is back from all over the country and globe, we are beginning to set up our next season. Our apologies for the delay in getting all of this information out to you as we had originally scheduled. It didn’t help that with the new TeamUnify Update we recently went through, the system has changed some functionality so we are working through getting back to how we previously operated the system.

What a fantastic Long Course Season we had! We saw so many first time swims, best times, & team records. But more importantly, we saw so many more smiles, learned lessons, friendships made, and hopefully the love of the sport of swimming has spread throughout the team!

Over the course of this week, we will be sending a series of emails which will have many VERY IMPORTANT topics. Please read thoroughly for each section, which will include the following:

1. Roster Groups Posted
2. Practice Schedules Posted (will be ready tomorrow)
3. Returning Swimmer Registration OPEN (will be ready tomorrow)
4. USA Swimming Membership Payment (will be ready tomorrow)
5. YNS Beginning of Season Stroke Clinic (will be ready Friday)

Roster Groups

• All Roster Groups for each YNS Location are posted in the Swimmers Tab on our Team Website

• Every Swimmer was individually evaluated by our Coaching Staff and placed in the best/most appropriate group based on their age & ability.
• We also took into account the age & ability of the group as a whole to maintain the most cohesive group possible in order to create the best possible learning/training experience for each Swimmer
• Before sending an upset/frustrated email to a member of our Coaching Staff, please speak with your swimmer about why they may think they were placed in their current group.
